Many people still stand by 7 Days To Die as being one of the best zombie games ever made. Each time you head out of your home base, you never know if you will be coming back! There is a real risk and reward thing going on here in regards to the crafting and loot gathering portion of the game. We are talking about stuff like weapons, ammo, building resources, clothes and more. You have tons of stuff that you can make in this game. One of the main aspects of this game is not just fighting off the undead and other survivors. Still, trying to survive in this undead hell all by yourself does make you feel like a badass. Working together does have its advantages and with the right people, it can be a great deal of fun. I was pretty much suspicious of everyone out there, but I did team up at one point and we had a pretty good community going.
I had a great deal of fun playing the game on my own.
As well as playing it on your own, you can also jump into a sandbox mode which in all honesty is not my cup of tea, but it was still fun. The game throws a lot of objectives your way so it is going to take you a fair bit of time to get through. It has a kind of Walking Dead/28 Days Later thing going on and that is cool with me. There is a campaign in 7 Days To Die and it is pretty much what you would expect.
